Why Clean Elections?
I am thrilled to be running for re-election to the Maine Senate for District 30 — serving Gorham and part of Scarborough!
In the last year, I have helped to pass crucial legislation to support Maine farmers, respond to the PFAS crisis, and enact Paid Family and Medical Leave to support working families. These are significant strides that improve all of our lives. But there is more to do to ensure that all Maine families have the opportunity to work, raise families, and lead healthy lives.
I feel strongly about keeping corporate and special interests out of our politics and campaigns. Because of this, I am running again as a Clean Election candidate.
As a Clean Election candidate, I have the opportunity to access the electoral process on equal footing without the undue influence of lobbyists, PACs, or big businesses, because citizens fund our campaigns. That said, being a Clean Election candidate is not easy.
Today, I ask for your support by donating $5 to my campaign.
